webquest

Trip to Kyoto


Introduction
Student is pretend to visit Kyoto , Japan for trip.  Student has to make a reserch what they going to do in Kyoto. Student is required to make a presentation about it and tell their plans to other students.  They are expected to understand especially in temple and shrine.
Kyoto is an old capital of Japan. There are a lot of temple, shrine, traditional food and cultures. Main idea is to get to know about temple and shrine.




Task
You will make a group of 4 people and make your trip plan to Kyoto.  Then each group have to make a reserch for one topic. After that you have to make a presentation about it.Then leader from one group gather and make one trip. You have to visit at least two temples or shrine. You have to describe some main things about that.







Process
You will use an internet to search your plan.  After you decided the one day plan, you will tell teacher.  Answer all these questions below. This question will be devided to 4 groups.

1.       By what you are going?
2.       What are you going to eat?
3.       Which temple or shrine are you going?
4.       Some easy phrase that you need with your travel

Conclusion
You finished your travel plan to Japan. Did you find some interesting culture? What was the most interesting temple or shrine? What is that temple or shrine for? What is the most exciting thing when you visit Kyoto?
